America's KVM 39X, a new truck-mounted concrete pump with Generation
2 detachable boom, offers lighter picking weight and faster mounting for
more productivity on projects requiring a separate placing boom. The key
to the Generation 2 concept is the separate powerpack/reservoir, which
is flown to the mounting point independently of the boom.
This allows a 13,200-lb picking weight for the 114-ft boom, which can
be mounted in many ways. When used on high-rise work and a self-climbing
form system, the tubular mast can be attached to the forming system, or
a zero-elevation frame can be clamped to the working deck of the forms.

Mustang
Manufacturing Co., Inc. is introducing two upgraded models to its
skid-steer loader product. Models 2044 and 2054 have received various
enhancements designed to improve operator comfort and visibility. A re-engineered
OPS/FOPS enclosure on the two models is the most visible change to these
new skid-steers. In addition to a new look, the re-engineered cab enclosure
includes a larger rear window and a redesigned side screen, providing
enhanced panoramic views of the job site. Visibility is also enhanced
by new exterior, halogen lighting. The Mustang Dual Lever/Hand controls
option has also been enhanced, now requiring much as 18 percent less hand-control
efforts from the operator. The 2044 and 2054 have two additional control
options: dual lever with foot controls and T-bar with foot controls. An
improved heating system now offers higher air flow and more vents, creating
a warmer cab in less time. The heater has also been relocated to the left
side of the ROPS enclosure, making entry/exit to the machine easier. A
new acoustical sound package option will provide for even quieter sound
levels. For more information about Mustang, visit www.mustangmfg.com.
