Criteria for This Year's Top Colorado Contractors'
Rankings
This issue of Colorado Construction
contains our annual rankings of the state's top contractors
in two different lists: Top CM/GCs and Top Design-Build Firms.
Rankings of the Top Heavy/Highway Contractors will be printed
in our Highway and Transportation issue in May.
Here's how the most recent lists were determined. Every year
Colorado Construction sends it Top GCs and D-B survey to hundreds
of Colorado contractors. Information for this year's rankings
was gathered through questionnaires mailed to individual firms
in January and February.
Firms were asked to provide revenue totals for their 2005
fiscal year, based first on projects done only in Colorado;
then secondarily, on revenue from all work, no matter where
the projects themselves were located. Construction revenue
as reported by individual firms was the only criteria for
ranking.
If your firm did not receive a questionnaire or wants to
correct information on the lists, call the editorial department
of Colorado Construction magazine at 303-584-6724. There is
no charge for participating in the annual Top Contractor rankings.
